WHO WE ARE

A-LEGO is a nonpartisan organization whose membership is comprised of African American women who are cutting edge thinkers, academicians, business leaders, high-level government representatives, social service executives, and key community advocates who are dedicated to activating sweeping change in the community.

We understand the complementary problems to today and we are eager to partner with research and data-driven organization seeking out our nation's finest scholars, policy makers, and journalist. A-Lego aims to see our beloved community transformed into an oasis. Rebuilding racial gaps in education, increasing financial income in minority families, reducing teen pregnancy, providing economic relationships and decreasing the incarceration of Black males in criminal justice system that does not believe in parity.
